January 2017

Inspired by the greater Nasty Women Exhibition movement originating in Queens, NY, I founded and organized an independent feminist art show in the basement of my off-campus house in January 2017, as a form of artistic political protest and fundraising.

The open call exhibition featured work by 30+ femme-identifying students and alumni in all types of media, including live performances. The event saw over 300 attendees and, through merchandising, art sales, online fundraising, and at-the-door donations, ultimately raised $2500 on behalf of Planned Parenthood.
