Cecily Lo is a video artist & editor based in LA.
Cecily Lo (they/she) is a Taiwanese-American multi-hyphenate video artist, editor, and experimental filmmaker. Originally from Washington, DC, Lo graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Computer Science from Tufts University’s School of Engineering in 2017 but ultimately found their calling through video editing, directing, and visual effects. Since then, they have created commercial video content for HBO, Showtime, and several Broadway musicals. Their work and words have been featured in Interview Magazine, NYLON, Lyrical Lemonade, Booooooom, and Girlgaze Network, as well as festivals and exhibitions around the world.
Lo currently lives and works in Los Angeles. They are pursuing an MFA in Film & Television Production at USC's School of Cinematic Arts as a recipient of the Samuel and Lorenza Gary Memorial Award.
